The selection process for the YGH SURGE program, held in collaboration with six Ukrainian medical student organizations, has come to an end.
For the second year in a row, Ukrainian medical students will join YGH SURGE — Yale Global Health Students United for Regional and Global Education. This is an interactive online learning platform for medical students in the form of recurring conferences, where each year proactive students from around the world gather to discuss current issues in modern medicine and build new connections and partnerships in the field of Global Health.
This year’s theme is “Conflict and Collaboration in Medicine and Global Health” — a complex, timely, and extremely important topic.
The selected participants from Ukraine this year are:- Kateryna Detiukova- Maksym Dubovyi- Anastasiia Klepova- Yelyzaveta Byrka- Tetiana Velyhoria- Valeriia Kvasnikova
Throughout the selection process, the participants demonstrated their experience, goals, and motivation. This alignment with the goals and mission of SURGE is what led to their selection. Congratulations to the finalists! We wish you valuable experiences, new connections, and knowledge that will fuel future change in Global Health in Ukraine.
