The selection of participants for the YGH SURGE program has ended, which took place in collaboration with 14 medical student organizations in Ukraine.
This year, for the first time, Ukrainian medical students will join YGH SURGE - Yale Global Health Students United for Regional and Global Education.SURGE is an interactive online learning platform for medical students in the format of recurring conferences, where every year, proactive students from around the world gather to discuss current issues in modern medicine, form new connections, and establish partnerships in the field of Global Health.
This year's theme is the role of artificial intelligence in Global Health.
We received applications from 88 talented medical students from across the country. We sincerely thank you for your interest in the program and your desire to develop in the field of Global Health.The selection process consisted of three stages: - Evaluation of applications based on CV, motivation letter, and recommendation letter by jury members. - Online interview with an American medical professional. - Final approval by medical students from Yale University.
During the selection process, participants demonstrated their prior experience, motivation, and goals, leading 10 students to achieve a 100% match with the goals and mission of SURGE.This year, the program participants from Ukraine will be: - Nataliia Pidmurniak, O.O.
