On April 27, 2024, the Klats Education team held a unique tereveni session on secondary specialization: Emergency Medicine → Infectious Disease Specialist, Ultrasound Doctor.
Due to the anticipated changes to the Internship Regulations, the path to a dream specialization may become more complicated for many. Therefore, we organized a cozy tereveni session where participants received genuine information from a doctor who has successfully navigated this path.
Sophia Stepanchuk - an infectious disease specialist and ultrasound specialist, who obtained her desired specialization after completing an internship in emergency medicine.
We discussed:
- The procedure for obtaining a secondary specialization;
- What can go wrong;
- Where to seek help;
- What needs to be taken care of right now;
- Whether everyone needs to obtain a secondary specialization: successful cases of working as family doctors.
The Klats Education team is excited to work towards providing even more opportunities for medical students from Ukraine!
