Excursions to the Superhumans Center: New Opportunities for the Professional Development of FPLZSU Students.
On January 8 and 9, students of the Faculty of Medical Training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (FPLZSU) specializing in 227 “Therapy and Rehabilitation” had the unique opportunity to visit the Superhumans Center. The excursions were organized by the NGO Klats Education in cooperation with the FPLZSU Student Council and with financial support from the NMU Student Council.
The Superhumans Center is a leading, world-class rehabilitation facility specializing in prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, psychological support, and rehabilitation, integrating advanced technologies and a multidisciplinary approach.
Over the course of two days, the students:▫️ visited one of the most modern, world-class rehabilitation centers, where advanced technologies, inclusivity, and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and patient rehabilitation are harmoniously combined;▫️ got acquainted with the center’s structure and learned in detail how the patient’s pathway is organized at every stage of rehabilitation;▫️ saw the latest prosthetic devices that help people with extremely complex injuries return to a full life;▫️ visited an innovative rehabilitation department staffed by a team of specialists who not only help patients recover but also teach them how to use prosthetics;▫️ personally interacted with “Super-people,” who shared their inspiring stories of overcoming challenges and the rehabilitation process;▫️ witnessed the center’s traditional graduation ceremony for its patients and saw the amazing results of their and the medical staff’s hard work.
Such excursions not only broaden students’ horizons but also play an important role in shaping their professional journeys. They help future specialists in physical therapy, rehabilitation, and prosthetics gain deeper insight into the prospects for their field, learn about the latest treatment and rehabilitation methods, and find valuable inspiration for their further studies and future work.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Superhumans Center administration for their warm welcome and for providing students with the opportunity to discover new horizons, as well as to all the organizers who helped make this important initiative possible.
